The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
