We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
