Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
