Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way, God will send their works astray. 1 As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 God will lead them to everlasting happiness and improve their condition. 5 And will admit them into gardens with which he has acquainted them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And those who disbelieve, perdition is for them, and He will make their actions vain. 8 That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless. 9 ۞ What, have they not journeyed in the land and beheld how was the end of those before them? God destroyed them; the unbelievers shall have the likes thereof. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
