Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
