Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
