Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Do you not understand? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 and we glorify God". 166 And surely they used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
