▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
