So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
