The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
