Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are (some of) those who were favoured by God among the prophets of the progeny of Adam, and of those We bore in the ark with Noah, and the offspring of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and We chose, for they bowed weeping in adoration when the revelations of Ar-Rahman were recited to them. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear in it anything vain; they shall hear only what is good; and they shall have their provision in it, morning and evening. 62 It is the Paradise that We will bequeath to those among Our bondmen who remain pious. 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
