We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
