▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
