Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
