The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
