Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
