۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 apart from God, and guide them unto the path of Hell! 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So this day they all are partners in the punishment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 For them there is a known provision, 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 wherein no sickness is, neither intoxication; 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 who was wont to ask [me,] 'Why - art thou really one of those who believe it to be true 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 and then he looks and sees that [companion of his] in the midst of the blazing fire, 55 And he will say: by Allah, thou hadst wellnigh causedest me to perish. 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayatin (devils); 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 for, behold, they found their forebears on a wrong way, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
