Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
