The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
