Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 But those who believe and do the right, and believe what has been revealed to Muhammad, which is the truth from their Lord, will have their faults condoned by Him and their state improved. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 Anon He shall guide them, and shall make good their state. 5 and will admit them to Paradise with which He has acquainted them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And those who disbelieve, perdition is for them, and He will make their actions vain. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ What, have they not journeyed in the land and beheld how was the end of those before them? God destroyed them; the unbelievers shall have the likes thereof. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11
