Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
Almighty God's Truth.
