O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 [You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims. 69 Enter the Garden, ye and your wives, to be made glad. 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 This is the Paradise you will inherit (as meed) for your deeds. 72 You shall have therein abundant fruit to eat' 73 Verily, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment of Hell to abide therein forever. 74 which will not be lightened for them, and therein they shall be silent. 75 We wronged them not, but they were the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.). 76 They shall call out: “O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us.” He will reply: “You must stay on in it. 77 Indeed We have brought the truth (Muhammad SAW with the Quran), to you, but most of you have a hatred for the truth. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Do they think that We do not hear their secrets and whispers? We certainly can hear them and Our Messengers record it all. 80 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "If the Most Beneficent (Allah) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allah's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 81 Purity is to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from all what they fabricate. 82 So leave them alone to indulge in their vanities and to frolic about until they encounter that Day of theirs against which they have been warned. 83 And He it is Who is God in the heavens and God in the earth, and He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 And blest be He Whose is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and with Him is knowledge of the Hour, and unto Him ye will be made to return. 85 Those whom they call upon, instead of Allah have no power of intercession, except such that testify to the truth based on knowledge. 86 And if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 87 And (the Prophet) will say: "O Lord, these are certainly a people who do not believe." 88 Turn away from them and say: "Peace." They will come to know soon. 89
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
