We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
