The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
