Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
