Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained? 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre). 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
