The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
