The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
