And [then] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown - and lo! out of their graves towards their Sustainer will they all rush forth! 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 There would be naught but a single cry, when lo! they shall all be brought before Us; 53 So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. 54 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 therein they have fruits, and they have all that they call for. 57 “Peace” shall be the word conveyed to them from their Merciful Lord. 58 [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals. 59 ۞ Did I not commit you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan who is your acknowledged foe, 60 But to serve Me; (that) this is the straight path? 61 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 roast well in it today, for that you were unbelievers!' 64 On that Day We shall set a seal on their mouths but their hands will speak unto Us, and their feet will bear witness to whatever they have earned [in life]. 65 If We so willed, We would have put out their eyes, then they would rush to see the Way, but how would they be able to see? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67
