Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
Whoso blinds himself to the Remembrance of the All-merciful, to him We assign a Satan for comrade; 36 Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! 37 Until when he comes before Us he will say (to the devil): "Would to God there was a distance of the East and West between you and me, for you were an evil companion!" 38 It will profit you not this Day (O you who turn away from Allah's remembrance and His worship, etc.) as you did wrong, (and) that you will be sharers (you and your Qarin) in the punishment. 39 So will you make the deaf listen or show the path to the blind, and to those who are in open error? (The disbelievers whose hearts are sealed, are deaf and blind to the truth). 40 Even if We take thee away, We shall be sure to exact retribution from them, 41 Or show you what We have promised them – We therefore have complete control over them. 42 Follow devotedly that which is revealed to you. You are certainly on the right path. 43 and, verily, this [revelation] shall indeed become [a source of] eminence for thee and thy people: but in time you all will be called to account [for what you have done with it]. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
