Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
