Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known calculated term. 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
