The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
