Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 On a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
