In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
