The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
