Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" 97 Verily ye and whatsoever ye worship beside Allah shall be firewood for Hell: thereunto ye shall go down. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it; yet every one of them shall therein abide forever;' 99 Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they will hear not. 100 Indeed those to whom Our promise of goodness has been made, have been kept far away from hell. 101 They shall not hear even a whisper of it, and they shall live for ever in the delights which they had desired. 102 The Hour of the Great Terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them saying: "This is your Day which you had been promised." 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Verily, in this (the Quran) there is a plain Message for people who worship Allah (i.e. the true, real believers of Islamic Monotheism who act practically on the Quran and the Sunnah legal ways of the Prophet SAW). 106 And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say: "It has but been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God: will you, then, surrender yourselves unto Him?" 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 He also said, "Lord, judge (us) with Truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent One whose help I ask against the blasphemies you say about Him". 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
