Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 And the bondmen of the Compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorants address them, they say peace 63 And those who spend their nights bowed and standing before their Lord; 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
