And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
