Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
