Al-Naml 6 of 7
And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
