The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 Those who, when they take by measure from mankind, exact the full, 2 But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 For a tremendous Day - 5 a Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin - 7 And what will make you know what Sijjin is? 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Woe, that Day, to the deniers, 10 Those that deny the Day of Judgment. 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore. 13 No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred; 15 Then they shall roast in Hell, 16 whereafter they will be told: “This is what you used to give the lie to.” 17 No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. 18 And what will make you know what the highest Iliyin is? 19 A written record, 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will surely be in bliss, 22 On adorned couches, observing. 23 thou knowest in their faces the radiancy of bliss 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim: 27 A fountain from which only they who are honoured drink. 28 Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And wink one to another when they passed them; 30 and when they returned to their people they returned blithely, 31 And when they saw them, they said: Most surely these are in error; 32 But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). 33 But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 Have those who deny the truth [not] been paid back for their deeds? 36
God the Almighty always says the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
