The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sun and its morning brightness, 1 And the moon when it follows the sun, 2 And the day when it revealeth him, 3 And by oath of the night when it hides it 4 by the sky and how He built it 5 and by the earth and how He spread it, 6 And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; 7 And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it. 8 He has succeeded who purifies it, 9 And he who confines it will surely come to grief. 10 Thamood belied in their pride 11 When the most wretched of them was sent forth. 12 Then the messenger of God said to them, "This is God's she-camel. Let her drink." 13 But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them]. 14 and He fears not the issue thereof. 15
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
