Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what shall teach thee what is the Night of Power? 2 The Night of Honor is better than a thousand months, 3 in it the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) descend by the permission of their Lord upon every command. 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
