The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 closed around them 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
