And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
