Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 That run their course (and) hide themselves, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 The rising dawn, 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 When whither go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
