The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
