The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
