Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How ill do you judge! 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Have they associate gods? Then let them produce their associate gods if they say sooth! 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. 43 Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. 44 I shall give them respite, however, My plan is so strong that they will never be able to escape from it. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or do they have knowledge of the unknown which they copy down? 47 So bear with patience until the Judgement of your Lord comes, and do not belike the man in the fish (i.e., Jonah) who called out, choking with grief: 48 Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
